Crazy Scrap Entrelac Afghan

 How it started...


And I didn't touch it for the longest time. I thought it was horribly ugly. 

But I did pick it back up, and this is how it ended:


I could have gone bigger; maybe I should have. But I do like it. I finished off the edges, as I do not like having raw corners, sewed in the tails, gave it a wash - and I'm thrilled with it. It turned out to be really very cool after all. Joe believed in this project from the start; he liked the mixed colors in it. 

So while it did take some time for this afghan, which I call "Frankenblanket," to grow on me, it has definitely grown on me.
